Baby Making

SIXTEEN children to one couple.
In the world today how could anybody be as stupid as this
couple who just had their 16th child. Can not people see that most of the worlds problems come from over population?

It saddens me to see such ignorance.

16 kids. Ridiculous.
Send them to China or Calcutta.

Jim Freedom - nothing you can say will please him.
Jim Freedom - you will never meet another like him.
Jim Freedom - I will never forget him.
Jim Freedom - I'm not sure if I ever met him.

Jim Freedom - in the rare air of free speech - you might wake up if you hear him.
But the blankets of TV idiocy and Hollywood / Madison Avenue hypocrisy have stoned and broken you.
The hour is dear.
Jim - I thank you for your patience with me.
I have met no one more alive than you.

Jim - I have read much of your story - and I thank you for it.
I am an old friend and stranger that you would not recognize on the rocks at Shasta with the witches chanting their mantras.
I have seen no greater freedom in my life than the open debates you incited and orchestrated in the fine summer on Boulder's Pearl Street Mall.
The world is richer for your science.
For you are one of the prophets, with Moses, Jesus, Siddhartha, Neitzche, Carl Sagan, Jim Morrison, and other great minds who dared to speak out against the establishment.
In a world where its often best to not make waves, to do as your told,
to not ask too many questions, you trancend the norm with the power of a Titan rocket.
Last I saw you, you were headed out into the desert to... its not my position to say... but being real and embracing truth and exposing the glory and pain of true freedom were always at the core of it.
And when you were gone, I heard a great benefaction had come your way... how well it was deserved!!!
For it was you who gave so much, including your time, wisdom, and especially great patience for our disciplish indulgence.
There was no finer season in my life.
When the snow fell silently in the quiet night of Boulder, and you lead us in meditation, we were enthralled.
This was a peak experience in a great forgotten window of vision in the dreamy lost light of Boulder Colorado University Town.

And as sleep pulls at me and is dragging me to lay down, I say a prayer for Jim Freedom.
I pray to the collective conciousness that is wavelength of awake and thinking minds...
Long live Jim Freedom!
May his spirit grow and blossom into eternity like the Sun's fire warming the spinning earth as we roll through each awful night of God's grace, and wake up again, gazing into the slightly older mirror and its face.
When and how will we leave this place?
What hat did we wear in the human race?
Ever onward, into the flow and the chase.
Freedom, great perfection of Freedom in a life, and the beautiful essential solitary self that radiates bliss within it!

And now I would like to quote Jay W. Cook's "Lectures on Absolute Science" (1927):
It is well to call attention to the necessity of eliminating any sense of anxiety!
Especially, in this, the glorious perfection of BEING, "AS IT IS THIS DAY"!
Sleep deep and dream wild.
Wake up alive with the freedom of a child.

I feel pretty good.
Now I lay me down to sleep.
I say a prayer to Jim and Freedom.
I thank him for his orchestration of the hour.
Allowing incarnations and realizations to bloom and flower.
On this spinning orb, falling into night, twisting its clouds into storms, beneath the silent glitter of the stars and distant galaxies, all is well in the electric chaos and organic intentions all embraced as one within the terrible merciful grace of God Almighty.

Jim, I must admit, I wouldn't want 16 children. That is a big responsibility and very costly. but keep in mind two very important things...

1.) You know nothing of the joys of raising a family. You totally missed the blessing of marraige and children. So you speak in ignorance here.

2.) Most of the world's problems does certainly NOT come as a result of overpopulation. The problem is mismanagement of land and produce. The world is very capable of supporting much more life than we currently have. The real problem is greed and missmanagement. Many goods, produce and livestock are simply wasted and buried to drive prices up. Or don't you know about that?
